Puppy Policies

 
 
At  Qwaynt Cardigan, puppies are sold  with great concern, for both the puppy and the new owners. 

We ask question to make the right decisions to  matched the right puppy for a buyers life style and home situations.  

Cardigans are a family dogs, they do well with  children with proper supervision

ALL companion/pet puppies are sold with limited registration papers and a extensive spay/neuter contract.

Prerequisite:

WE DO NOT SELL PET/ COMPANION PUPPIES FOR BREEDING 

  • We ask  everyone to  fill out our questionnaire. This will help me to match the right puppy  to a buyers  circumstances.   We want both you and the puppy to be happy. 

  • All COMPANION placements are sold on a spay/ neuter contract only. 

  • The registration papers are LIMITED REGISTRATION.

  • A fence is preferable, but it will not preclude the placement of a puppy. We work with each placement on an individual basis .

  • We ask for  3 references, one that  is  your veterinarian .

  • All buyers must agree, in our  contract, that they are not involved in Wholesale puppy brokering  and Puppy Mass production (this includes any practice involving dogs being bred or sold for profit) 

  • That a buyer will never re-sell or place a puppy / dog 

  • That a buyer will never place a puppy / dog  obtained from us in an animal shelter, or  humane society for any reason.  

  • I have a life time return policy on all Cardigans

Our Guarantee:

  • We guarantee the soundness of all puppies and will provide clearances for the  parents owned by us .  

  • Our Dogs have their hips xrayed and certified with OFA.  

  • Eyes are check and certified with CERF. 

  • Breeding stock are PRA clear by testing or by birth.

  • All puppies will be current on their vaccinations and  worming for their appropriate age.  

  • We guarantee temperament when you  pick up your puppy.  With  proper socialization, your puppy will be a great companion. 

  • Their crate training  and house training is started.  

  • You are welcome to  visitiors,   depending on our schedule - appointments are necessary. 

  • I will gladly give references .  

  • FOREVER homes, are what I  hope for,  but knowing that life changes, we support our  dogs  and you for the dogs whole life.

Return Policy:

Every effort is made to match the  right puppy/dog with the right owner. 

Life can change, these changes may require returning a puppy or dog to Qwaynt  Cardigans.  

All puppies / dogs  placed may be returned, for any reason, at any time, in their lives. 

They may be re-evaluated and re-homed according to each individual situation.
